Do you have Sleep Apnea and Heart Failure or Atrial Fibrillation?
We invite you to see if the RESTEADY Study may be right for you.
THE RESTEADY CLINICAL STUDY - NOW ENROLLING
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a common and serious sleep disorder in which breathing is repeatedly interrupted during sleep. OSA occurs when the airway collapses as you breathe in. This can cause breathing to be paused from several seconds to over a minute.
Sleep apnea is also common in people with heart problems, such as heart failure and atrial fibrillation. This is why doctors and researchers are working to develop new medications specifically for people with both sleep apnea and heart problems.
Right now, doctors at select centers throughout the US are conducting the RESTEADY Study. The study is evaluating an investigational oral medication for people with sleep apnea as well as heart failure and/or atrial fibrillation.
The RESTEADY Study lasts about 10 weeks and involves up to 7 visits to your local study center for health exams and tests. Five of these visits will be overnight sleep studies to monitor your sleep apnea. If you qualify and choose to join the RESTEADY Study you will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost, and will also be compensated for your time and travel to attend study visits.
